Alerting, Reporting, and Filtering Features

Not only does KeystrokeSpy record keystrokes, but it will also alert you by email when certain keyword phrases are typed, such as names, addresses, and other phrases you specify.  You can also have logs automatically sent to your email address so you can view reports from another computer, such as your office.  Last, but not least, rather than logging all keystrokes you can setup KeystrokeSpy to only monitor those keystrokes performed in specific applications.

  • Application Filtering
KeystrokeSpy can be set so that it ONLY records keystrokes typed in specific applications or windows you select.  This is optional and by default KeystrokeSpy will record all keystrokes typed regardless of where they occur. [view screenshot]

  • Email Log Delivery
KeystrokeSpy allows you to send its keystrokes log to via email, along with a current screenshot of the computer desktop, at set time intervals you specify.  This allows you to view logs from a location other than the computer you are actually monitoring. [view screenshot]

  • Keyword Alert Notifications
KeystrokeSpy can be set to alert you via email when a 'trigger' keyword or phrase has been typed on the computer such as a name, address, password, phone number, etc. Along with the alert email will be a screenshot of the computer desktop when the trigger was set. [view screenshot]

Security and Stealth Features

KeystrokeSpy has an array of security and stealth features included with it.  KeystrokeSpy is undetectable under all versions of Windows and can circumvent most popular third-party 'spyware' detectors for ultimate stealth.  Aside from this it also uses log file encryption to prevent viewing of logs from unauthorized users, log file backdating, and includes an optional startup warning if you choose to notify your computer users they are being monitored.

  • Complete Stealth Mode
KeystrokeSpy will be totally undetectable to your users. It will NOT show up in the task manager, registry, or Windows startup utilities at all. [view screenshot]

  • Log File Encryption
KeystrokeSpy has a built in encryption option which will encrypt all logs created by KeystrokeSpy.  This prevents unauthorized users from stumbling across the logs and viewing them without logging in to KeystrokeSpy and using its log viewer. [view screenshot]

  • Security Settings
KeystrokeSpy has advanced security features which allow you to prevent time/date changes and access to the Windows task manager. This is just extra protection to make sure KeystrokeSpy cannot be tampered with. [view screenshot]

  • Spyware Detector Disabling
KeystrokeSpy can be configured to disable popular third-party spyware detectors which might tamper with its operation. [view screenshot]

  • Log File Backdating
KeystrokeSpy can be configured to backdate all keystroke logs so they appear much older than they really are.  This makes it impossible for users to search for and find created logs by searching through recently modified files on your computer. [view screenshot]

  • Warning Screen (optional)
An optional warning screen can be configured to alert all users of the computer that they are being monitored. This warning is optional and can be a custom message set to whatever you wish. [view screenshot]

  • Password Protected
KeystrokeSpy is password and hotkey combination for security. User must type the hotkey (user set combination of keys) to bring up the password box and then enter the correct password to gain access to KeystrokeSpy's settings and logs. This is the only way to access the program. [view screenshot]

  • Idle Timeout
KeystrokeSpy can be configured to go into an idle state when a user has been inactive on the computer for a given amount of time. When activity resumes so does Keystroke Spy. [view screenshot]

  • Configurable Log Location
You can set KeystrokeSpy to store logs in any directory you wish, aside from the default, including network shared folders.

  • Automatic Log Clearing
You can set KeystrokeSpy to clear its keystroke logs every xxx number of keystrokes typed so as the log files do not get larger than you wish.

  • Configurable Hotkey Prompt
To access KeystrokeSpy's settings and logs you must enter a hotkey (combination of keys) to open the password box. Once you enter your password you gain access to KeystrokeSpy. This 'hotkey' can be customized to whatver you wish for easy remembering and access.
